This is a hidden gem!! The service and food was amazing. From the moment we entered it was a great experience. The owner sat us and began talking to us as if we were old friends. It was so hard to order as everything looked yummy on the menu. We started with both chicken and pork dumplings, amazing. Then I had number#28 chicken with Chinese noodles and the wife had the Udon with chicken which was also great tasting.

A truly special place serving up delicious east Asian food and a side of history. The friendly owner explained about the history of Christianity in China and even has an article in a local newspaper about Pope Leo's visits to his restaurant! (Apparently the holy father is quite good at using chopsticks!)

We went the full 14 days without Asian food so this scratched an itch. Korean fried chicken was delicious. Soft and crispy with almonds and flavourful.

We were craving some hot and spicy food, so we decided to try this place for dinner. The restaurant was small and packed, but the food was good overall. The pork dumplings, chicken dumplings, pork noodles, Korean chicken, and spicy shrimp were excellent, but the chicken rice noodles and soup were below average. Despite this, the service was quick and the portions were reasonable for the price, so we gave it four stars.

Comfort Express is such a great spot! The place is super clean and smells fresh, the food is tasty with big portions, and the prices are really fair. The owner is very kind and always helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. Even the Pope has eaten here! Highly recommended!

I feel so blessed to have stumbled upon this place! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with portraits of famous Catholic priests and cardinals who helped bring the faith to China, not only that, it was a favorite of Pope Leo when he was still a cardinal. The food is a delicious take on classic Chinese and Korean recipes, modified slightly from their originals to pack in more vegetables and more complex flavors. While the name of the restaurant suggests a quick and simple meal, you'll probably want to linger here over a cup of hot tea and chat with the owner, who warmly welcomed us and answered our questions about the history of the faith in China. Truly a meal to nourish both body and soul !
